Academic Senate
The Academic Senate is an important internal body at universities and educational institutes.
Members of the Academic Senate are also representatives of academic staff and students.
The task of the Academic Senate is to represent the academic community, i.e. the students and employees of the school.
The main tasks of the Academic Senate are, in particular:
- Representation of the academic community: The Academic Senate functions as a bridge between the management of the educational institution, students and staff. It ensures that their views and needs are taken into account when making decisions.
- Approval of strategic documents: The academic senate is involved in the approval of important documents such as study and examination regulations, assessment rules and other fundamental norms related to the functioning of the educational institution.
- Oversight of the quality of education: The Senate can express opinions and make recommendations regarding the improvement of the quality of the educational process through discussion and proposals for changes.
- Support of academic life: The Senate participates in the support of research and other academic activities, organizes various events and projects that contribute to the culture at the university or educational institute.
The Academic Senate thus plays a key role in the governance of a college or educational institute, ensuring that the views and needs of all stakeholders are heard and taken into account.

Education Council and Ethics Commission
The Education Council is an internal body of the Cosmopolitan Institute that deals with issues related to education and schooling.
The task of the Education Council is, in particular, to improve the quality of the educational process, propose and implement new pedagogical approaches, evaluate new educational programs and policies, or provide recommendations for further development of the institute.
The main goal of the Education Council is to ensure that education within the Cosmopolitan Institute reaches high standards and responds to the needs of students and society as a whole.
The Ethics Commission is an important internal body that deals with issues of ethics and morality within the educational process.
The main task of the Ethics Commission is, in particular:
- Assessment of ethical problems and cases of ethical violations within the institution,
- creating and updating ethical guidelines and a code of conduct,
- organization of educational activities focused on ethical issues,
- providing advice and recommending the possibility of further development of the institute’s management.
The superior body of the Education Council and the Ethics Commission is the Academic Senate of the Cosmopolitan Institute.
