I can truly recommend studying the master of sports administration to anyone who can't get enough of sports, both in their free time and during their studies. You meet some really lovely people and have really interesting lectures. Especially helpful is the legal part about contracts, sponsorships and all the managerial parts.

Depending on the study program, location and practice partner, the dual studies program at the CIE takes place either in a weekly rotation (1 week practice, 1 week theory) or in a split-week model (50% of the week practice and 50% of the week theory). At the CIE, you pay € 0 - because your practice partner (depending on partner and program) pays your tuition fees.

The Bachelor's program at CIE lasts 3.5 years (7 semesters). Master and Doctoral Degree can vary.
We deliberately do not have a numerus clausus. Instead, you will have an individual CIE interview with your study advisor. You will talk about your wishes and professional goals and together you will find out in which areas your strengths lie.
Here is an overview of our admission requirements:
Studying with A-levels
As an applicant with a general university entrance qualification (Abitur) or a technical college entrance qualification (Fach-Abitur), you can be admitted directly to the dual Bachelor's programme at the IU.
Studying without A-levels
Without a (specialist) A-levels, entry is possible if you meet one of the following requirements:
Applicants from abroad
As a foreign applicant, you must have a higher education entrance qualification equivalent to the specific country qualification. When applying, you must provide proof of your qualification. In addition, you will have an individual interview with your study advisor.
When searching for companies, we draw on our network of over 25,000 practical partners and also support you in your application to other companies. For this purpose, you will be in constant contact with your study advisor in our applicant portal, where you will receive lots of helpful tips and can register for our free CIE training.
